AirRam Performance

  •   Does it have suction?

    Yes, but unlike other vacuums the AirRam doesn't waste energy sucking the dirt along tubes and around cylinders. The AirRam only moves the dirt an inch and a half, collecting it in the head of the vacuum.

  •   Does being cordless affect the performance?

    The AirRam offers high performance cordless cleaning. Its combination of suction and rotating brush bars enable it to effectively lift dirt and dust, as well as embedded pet hair.

  •   What floor surfaces does the AirRam work on?

    The AirRam cleans carpet, hardwood and tiled floors with ease. You can simply glide from one to another without having to change any settings.

  •   Can you clean stairs with it?

    Yes, the AirRam is lightweight and cordless and can easily be lifted onto stairs.

  •   How do I remove the handle?

    To remove the handle, use a pen (or charger jack) to push the clip located on the back of the AirRam whilst lifting the handle at the same time.

  •   Which type of battery does my AirRam have?

    The AirRam uses a 22V Lithium-Ion battery.

  •   Which type of charger do I need for my AirRam?

    The AirRam uses only one type of charger, which is included with your purchase. Replacement chargers can be ordered from us, call our customer service 888-997-0898.

  •   What floor surfaces does the AirRam work on?

    The AirRam cleans carpet, hardwood and tiled floors with ease. You can simply glide from one to another without having to change any settings.

  •   How long does the battery take to charge?

    It takes four hours to fully charge the battery. A fully charged battery will last up to 40 minutes.‡ Once the battery has been fully depleted you will need to charge it again for four hours. If you forget to charge your AirRam, a short, one-hour charge will deliver a burst of additional cleaning time.

  •   My AirRam isn't recharging, what should I do?

    When charging correctly, the green LED lights on the front of the AirRam will pulse. The number of LEDs will gradually increase until the battery is fully re-charged. Re-charging from flat should take approximately 4 hours.

    If you don't see any green LEDs when you put the AirRam on to charge, follow these simple steps:

    • Disconnect the charger from the wall socket and the AirRam. • Press the on/off button. • Check the LED lights on the front of the vacuum.

    If you see 1 red flashing LED or 4 depleting red LEDs, your charger may have developed a fault. You can order a replacement charger from us.

    If you don't see any LEDs, it's likely that the battery has developed a fault. You can order a replacement battery from us. If your AirRam is within warranty, please contact our Customer Services team. Please have your address, telephone number and serial number to hand.

  •   What is the lifespan of the battery?

    The battery can be charged up to 1000 times, which is equivalent to around 5 years under normal usage and is covered by our 2-year warranty.

AirRam Warranty

  •   Is the AirRam covered by a warranty?

    Yes, the AirRam is covered by a 2-year warranty,† as long as you register your product with Gtech within 90 days of purchase. If anything goes wrong due to faulty manufacturing in this period we will fix or replace it.

  •   Is the battery covered by the warranty?

    Yes, the Lithium-ion battery is covered by your 2-year warranty.†

  •   What are the dimensions of the AirRam?

    The AirRam measures 44.5" high (from bottom of base to top of handle), 11.5" wide, 10" deep and the head is 3" high.

  •   What does the AirRam weigh?

    We have got rid of all the tubes, bags and cylinders, so the AirRam weighs only 7.7lbs.

  •   Are there any attachments/additional tools?

    We've designed the AirRam to take away all the things you hate about vacuuming. AirRam's radical design does away with the heavy, bulky components of a traditional upright vacuum, giving you an improved user experience without compromising on performance. We've separately designed the Multi, to give you the cleaning attachments you're used to from your old vacuum, but without the cord.

  •   The brush bar isn't turning, what should I do?

    If dirt and hair are allowed to build up around the brush bar, it could prevent it from turning around. Ensure the brush bar is rotating freely by carefully removing the hair.

    To prevent accidental starting, always remove the battery from the vacuum before cleaning.

    Sometimes, dirt and hair can build up either side of the brush bar. You can remove the brush bars from the vacuum to clean away any built up dirt.

  •   How do I clean the brush bar?

  •   Do the filters need changing regularly?

    No, the AirRam filters are designed for lifetime use. We do recommend that the filters should be washed once a month in warm water and then left to dry for 24 hours.

  •   Can I use the AirRam to clean wet areas?

    No, the AirRam is only suitable for cleaning up dry dirt and mess.

  •   How long does it take for an order to ship?

    All orders are shipped next business day from our fulfillment center in Fairfield, OH via FedEx Ground. Orders placed Friday to Sunday and on holidays will be processed the next business day. The expected delivery time is 5-7 business days. You will receive a separate email with the FedEx tracking number once we have shipped your order.

  •   Is the AirRam covered by a warranty?

    Simply call us at 888-997-0898 and we will arrange for you to send your AirRam to our repair center in Fairfield, OH. We will inspect the unit and if we aren't able to repair it we will replace it for you.

  •   Where can I purchase replacement parts?

    Call us at 888-997-0898 and we will arrange to ship the part to you. There will be a charge for replacement air filters & chargers.
